Flu Vaccine

Children are a major concern in the fall and winter season. In both stories it is mention that "The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention," has recorded that over 143 million doses of vaccines would be available this season. Unfortunately of about 36,000 Americans die annually because the this same disease. In New York State alone , the number of inoculations was higher than the national average among babies and just beow average for senior citizens. Also, two of the three strains in the vaccine didn't match the influenza strains that circulated in the U.S. These stories just reminds us that our immune system should be heavily protected especially at this time of year.

These article doesn't mention the statistics of racial background it attacks mostly. What other states are effected by this disease? Still many are without medical insurance for simple shots. Some of us are fortunate to have high immune, do we still need the shot. The biggest question is what if there are major complications after taking the vaccine. Are there alteratives for them?
